Prueba de nivel 1 - Trinity College of London

A través de estos vídeos podéis ver cómo es la prueba para el NIVEL 1 del Trinity College of London que van a hacer nuestros alumnos de 2º de EP que se han matriculado a tal efecto. La prueba tendrá lugar a finales de mayo en el Colegio, os diremos la fecha exacta en cuanto nos la comuniquen a nosotros. 

Como podéis ver, los niños deben ser competentes comunicativamente a la hora de saludar y despedirse y de contestar a preguntas tales como: 

- How are you?

- How old are you?

- What's this?

- How many are there?

El vocabulario que deben dominar es: 

- Partes del cuerpo

- Prendas de vestir

- Animales

- Números del 1 al 20

- Colores

- Adjetivos posesivos (my, your, his, her, its, our, your, their)

- Pronombres demostrativos (this, these)

- Conjugación del verbo TO BE en presente (is, are)

- Mobiliario (window, door, table...)

Cualquier niño que haya sido capaz de centrar su atención en clase y haya trabajado de manera regular con el Blog puede hacer esto y mucho más, así que ya veremos lo que pasa. Suerte a los pequeños candidatos a titulados por el Trinity College of London.

Europe

Una de las actividades que más le ha gustado a los niños del tema del Planeta Tierra es localizar los continentes y los países de Europa en un mapa.

Unos vídeos para aprender a preguntar "What are you doing?" (¿Qué estás haciendo?) o "What is he/she doing?" y a dar las respuestas correspondientes. Esto es algo que, por descontado, hemos trabajado en clase, pero sería estupendo practicar en casa o en la calle.

Habitats

Coincidiendo con la celebración del Día de la Tierra el pasado 22 de abril estuvimos completando nuestra unidad de Science PLANET EARTH con el estudio de los HÁBITATS. 

Volvimos a ver ese video de la BBC en el que se muestra desde el aire las maravillas de nuestro planeta.

Luego encontramos una Web que explicaba perfectamente lo que era un hábitat y los distintos tipos que se pueden encontrar.

Una vez que tuvimos más o menos claro lo que era un hábitat contemplando las maravillosas fotos de esa Web, vimos un video explicativo y nos aprendimos una canción. 

La guinda del pastel fue cuando trabajando en grupos construimos distintos hábitats con los ladrillos de LEGO y luego buscamos animales que estuvieran adaptados a vivir en cada uno de los mismos.

Hoy hemos realizado una actividad muy divertida en nuestra clase de arts&crafts. Hemos doblado un folio por la mitad y hemos dibujado una cabeza y un cuello. Luego Miguel Ángel ha pasado el folio doblado a otro compañero para que dibujara un cuerpo sin ver en ningún momento la cabeza. Como no podría ser de otra manera, han salido unos dibujos de lo más loco. Aquí tenéis algunos ejemplos. 

Planet Earth

Hoy hemos comenzado nuevo tema de Science, "Planet Earth", así que vamos a aprender un montón de cosas sobre este planeta, que es la casa de todos. Lo primero que hemos hecho es jugar un buen rato con GOOGLE EARTH, aplicación que os recomiendo utilizar en vuestra casa con vuestros hijos, ya que tiene un alto valor lúdico y educativo. Hemos viajado desde el espacio exterior hasta la puerta de nuestro colegio y nos hemos preguntado cuántas personas viven en el planeta, cuántas lenguas se hablan en él, porque no nos caemos y terminamos flotando en el espacio... 

Luego hemos visto un par de vídeos que nos han hecho conscientes de la gran variedad de paisajes y especies animales y vegetales que atesora el planeta Tierra. 

Y luego una divertida canción sobre el planeta Tierra.
